Hazras Charity Foundation (HCF) delivers measurable impact through carefully designed programs that address urgent social challenges in Nigeria and across Africa. Our project initiatives focus on improving access to education, economic empowerment, shelter, food security, clean water, and cultural preservation. Below is a summary of our key projects and their proposed funding requirements.

Ending Domestic Violence Against Women

This capacity-building initiative is designed to combat domestic violence, particularly in Northern Nigeria. The five-state program will be implemented in: Kano, Jigawa, Niger, Gombe, and Kogi States. The project focuses on awareness, advocacy, community engagement, and support services for victims.

Access to Free Education for Out-of-School Children

HCF is committed to reducing the number of out-of-school children in Nigeria. Research indicates that over 20 million children are currently out of school. Our initiative aims to return vulnerable and less-privileged children to the classroom.

HCF plans to train 500 women in skills acquisition programs including tailoring and agribusiness. This initiative aims to promote entrepreneurship, financial independence, and sustainable livelihoods.

Shelter for the Homeless

This project provides housing support for internally displaced persons (IDPs), orphans, and victims of terrorism and disasters. HCF aims to provide shelter for 60 families across three highly affected states:

  • Borno State
  • Niger State
  • Zamfara State

Access to Clean Drinking Water (5 Borehole Projects)

This initiative will provide clean and safe drinking water to rural communities through the construction of five boreholes in the following locations:

  • Karaye – Kano State
  • Doko – Niger State
  • Katagum – Bauchi State
  • Bida – Niger State

Eid al-Adha Livestock Donation Program

HCF organizes livestock donations during Eid al-Adha to support vulnerable families. Under this plan, three cows will be slaughtered and distributed to benefit 21 families (one cow shared among seven families).

This initiative aims to provide food support to 500 vulnerable families and orphans across five states in Nigeria:

Rebuilding & Supporting Cultural Heritage in Bida

HCF conducted research into Bida’s historic artwork and folklore, identifying the urgent need for restoration and preservation. This project seeks to rebuild the ancient recreation center and support cultural custodians responsible for preserving traditional heritage.
